Columbia SIPA’s Institute of Global Politics invites you to join us on February 18 for a fireside chat between IGP Carnegie Distinguished Fellow and CNN’s Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour, IGP Carnegie Distinguished Fellow and Former Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer, and Columbia SIPA Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo. Together, they will explore the evolving role of the United States on the world stage, the multitude of challenges facing the international order, and the role of an independent press reporting the facts without fear or favor.

Career Conversation Roundtable with Reshma Saujani and Yasmine Ergas

Join Reshma Saujani, IGP Carnegie Distinguished Fellow, Founder and CEO of Moms First, and Founder of Girls Who Code for a career conversation. Reshma has spent more than a decade building movements to fight for women and girls’ economic empowerment, working to close the gender gap in the tech sector, and most recently fighting for the structural changes moms need and deserve including affordable child care, paid leave, and equal pay. The conversation will be moderated by Yasmine Ergas, Director of the Specialization on Gender and Public Policy, Senior Lecturer in International and Public Affairs, and IGP Faculty Advisory Board Member.
