IGP’s Technology & Democracy Initiative convened a panel of scholars and researchers for a conversation about red teaming, a cornerstone of cybersecurity where ethical hackers simulate attacks to uncover vulnerabilities.

IGP Affiliated Faculty Member Camille François, president of ROOST and SIPA assistant professor of practice of international and public affairs, emphasized the importance of keeping pace with the evolving capabilities of AI, stating: “As AI becomes more powerful, security tools and fundamental security research must evolve just as rapidly – ​​and they must be accessible to everyone.”
