
Yijie (Frank) Huang

Biography
Yijie (Frank) Huang came to the United States at the age of 15 to attend Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Maryland and went on to graduate with the highest student honor, the Brother Mark Award. Frank attended New York University to pursue a bachelor of arts degree in international relations and economics, graduating cum laude. He now is a second-year MPA student at Columbia SIPA, and serves as the vice president of the SIPA Student Association.
Frank’s previous experiences include interning at the National Committee on US-China Relations to promote the critical bilateral relations and interning at Orient Overseas Container Line, one of the world’s largest ocean carriers, with a focus on sustainability initiatives.
Frank is proud to be a first-generation and international student from Pujiang, a county located in China’s Zhejiang province which is famous for its discovery of the world's earliest domesticated rice.
