IGP Scholar Remington Pool

Biography

Remington Pool is a third-year student and Hamilton Fellow at Columbia Law School. He serves on the Student Senate, the Lateral Hiring and Public Interest/Public Service faculty committees, and as the Co-Chair of the Class of 2025 Graduation Committee. He has been a teaching fellow for Torts and Property and will be a teaching fellow for Legislation and Regulation. Before law school, Remington worked at a law firm, a consulting firm, and as a fellow in a program focused on improving educational equity. During law school, Remington has interned at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Office of General Counsel of the US House of Representatives, and in the Executive Office of the President at the Office of Management and Budget. Remington intends to use his legal education to pursue a career at the nexus of government oversight and administrative rulemaking.
