Julian Brenman

Biography
Julian Brenman joins IGP with a research focus in Diplomacy. In the public sector, he developed a legislative specialization in Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; Brenman served the staffs of the United States Senate (2024) and the House of Representatives (2023) earning official distinction for excellence. He has offered analysis on ABC, CBS, and NBC. In the private sector, Brenman served corporate development for an Emmy-winning firm in Manhattan.
Brenman partnered with Dean of Columbia College Emeritus Valentini to build a framework for renewed inquiry which engaged undergraduate, graduate, and alumni populations in study of Suzuki’s works through lenses of chemistry, philosophy, and biological sciences. In 2024, Brenman was selected for the Columbia University Writing Review. In 2025, he was identified to join a cohort of 31 emerging thought leaders across North America committed to strengthening twentieth century ideological pluralism. Brenman graduates from Columbia University in 2025.
