Biography
Isabella Crispino, a final year Master's student in Human Rights & Humanitarian Policy, completed her first year at Sciences Po in Paris. She holds a first-class degree in History & Politics from University College, Oxford, where she received an award for her thesis on the Algerian War of Independence and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Oxford Review of Books.
Previously, she worked at Economist Impact in London - the public policy unit of the Economist Group. Here, she contributed to projects ranging from benchmarking political reform in Ukraine to assessing the global media industry's viability post Covid-19.
Isabella has worked in newsrooms in Lebanon and Tunisia, covering topics such as the persecution of environmental activists, the implication of content moderation on protests in Iran, and migrant camps. She worked on the The Uber Files, an investigation into Uber’s corporate state capture in collaboration with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
