Irene Jang

Irene Jang is a senior at Barnard College on the dual BA/MA track at Columbia's Harriman Institute, where she is progressing toward an MA in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies. Irene is passionate about human rights, anticorruption issues, and politics of the post-Soviet space. Previously, she interned for Chemonics International, the African American Redress Network, and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. She is a current research intern for the US Department of State at the Office of Russian Affairs. In her spare time, Irene enjoys yoga and watching films.
