Biography

Emily Muller discovered her interest in public policy as a scholarship recipient during Rare Disease Week on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. While in high school, she emerged as a fervent advocate of the 21st Century Cures Act. Her efforts earned her a RareVoice Award for Federal Advocacy and commendation from the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Graduating with a degree in international relations and social anthropology (honors) from the University of St Andrews, Emily enjoyed research assistantships spanning civil-military relations to political psychology. Currently pursuing a Master of International Affairs degree at Columbia SIPA, she is editor in chief of the Morningside Post and a devoted advocate for campus accessibility.

Beyond academia, Emily's professional experiences include coordinating an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) publication, interning with the executive board of UN Women, and heading copy editing for a London arts magazine. Her foremost goal: creating equitable access to education, housing, transportation, and healthcare for disabled people.
