Biography

Driving impact at the intersection of tech, law, business, and ethics, Avalon Zborovsky-Fenster has worked on the global policy and government teams of industry giants like Intel and Verizon. As an intern at The Cantellus Group, she supports firm leaders in advising Fortune 50 companies and intergovernmental bodies on AI policy and governance. Her legislative internship experience spans both houses of Congress, and as an award-winning national organizer, she's left her mark on numerous history-making nonprofits, including March For Our Lives.

Avalon is the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Science, Tech, Ethics, and Policy. Following two years as Class President, she now represents Barnard on the Columbia University Senate, for which her service has earned her two college-wide leadership awards. She previously served as an Athena Center for Leadership Fellow and as the Vice Chair of the Columbia Undergraduate Committee on Global Thought through the Bartsch Fellowship.
