Biography
Artem Ilyanok is a senior at Columbia University studying history, a presidential fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, and a student scholar at the Saltzman Institute for War and Peace Studies. On campus, he is roundtable coordinator at the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review, a board member of the Alexander Hamilton Society, and a research assistant for Professor Matthew Waxman of Columbia Law School. He spent the summer working in the legal and compliance department at Marshall Wace, having previously been a business and immigration writer at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel. Artem’s interests include the law of armed conflict, international security policy, and military history. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, Premier League soccer, exploring New York City's museums, and chess.
