Biography
Alejandro Daly is committed to addressing air pollution and promoting the right to a healthy environment for young people across the globe. He is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia SIPA and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community.
Rising to president of the board at El Derecho a No Obedecer, Alejandro has worked to develop and promote social advocacy around issues such as air pollution, climate action and refugee rights, mobilizing over 200.000 young people through campaigns, civic spaces, and dialogues.
As a founding member of both the Latin American Coalition for Clean Air and the National Citizen Network for Clean Air, Alejandro is experienced in promoting sustainable environmental policies.
A Venezuelan and a forcibly displaced migrant, Alejandro shares a commitment to fighting xenophobia. Alejandro is also cofounder of the Xenophobia Barometer and was awarded the first Youth Leadership and Innovation Award on Migration.
