IGP Rapid Response Addresses Federal Immigration Enforcement and the Future of US Democracy
On February 2, the Institute of Global Politics hosted a Rapid Response webinar titled “Federal Immigration Enforcement and the Future of US Democracy.” The discussion featured Marie Gottschalk, Edmund J. Kahn Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania; G. Elliott Morris, data journalist and author of the Strength in Numbers Substack; Elora Mukherjee, Jerome L. Greene Clinical Professor of Law at Columbia Law School; and Ilan Wurman, Julius E. Davis Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota. The webinar was introduced by Keren Yarhi-Milo, dean of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, Adlai E. Stevenson Professor of International Relations, IGP Cofounder and Faculty Advisory Board Member; and moderated by Alex Hertel-Fernandez, Herbert H. Lehman Professor of Government and director of IGP’s American Democracy Initiative at Columbia SIPA.
