IGP and ILAS Experts Respond to Argentina’s Debt Bailout and Shifting US Foreign Economic Policy

On October 28, the Institute of Global Politics and the Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS) hosted a webinar titled “Argentina and Beyond: The Politics of U.S. Foreign Economic Policy.” The discussion featured Fernando Cirelli, assistant professor at SIPA specializing in macroeconomics with a focus on monetary economics and macrofinance, Jeffry Frieden, professor of international and public affairs and political science and IGP Faculty Advisory Board member at Columbia, and ILAS Director María Victoria Murillo, professor of political science and international affairs and IGP Faculty Advisory Board member.
