Federal Reserve Governor Addresses Inflation, Interest Rates, and Monetary Policy

On December 15, the Institute of Global Politics hosted Stephen I. Miran, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and former Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, to address the implications for inflation, interest rates, and monetary policy following the Federal Reserve’s final policy meeting of the year. Following formal remarks, Miran spoke with Professor Richard Clarida, former Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve and former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.
