Noa Kochai

Biography

Noa Kochai is an MIA candidate concentrating in Technology, Policy, and Innovation with a focus on AI governance and regulation.

A licensed attorney, Noa brings a legal and policy lens to her work on emerging technology governance. Prior to SIPA, she held roles in the Israeli public sector, working on international affairs and policy, including at the UN. Noa has shared her expertise at international forums, including the Hague Academy of International Law and Oxford University. Noa is also the cofounder of the Dinah Project, a legal research initiative advancing recognition and justice for victims of conflict-related sexual violence.

At Columbia, she is an International Fellows Program Fellow and an active member of the SIPA Israel Group, where she has co-organized programming to foster nuanced discourse and build relationships across the graduate student community.
