Biography

Jennifer Suh is an MIA candidate at Columbia SIPA, concentrating in International Security Policy with a focus on East Asia. A 2024 Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellow, she will join the US Foreign Service after graduation. 

She served five years on active duty as a US Air Force Intelligence Officer, with assignments in Texas, South Korea, and Italy. She had the opportunity to deploy, lead intelligence units, and provide senior decision-makers with critical geopolitical assessments. She continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve while completing her studies.

Proficient in Korean and Mandarin, Jennifer draws on her multicultural upbringing in Guam to foster cross-cultural connections and advance US engagement in the Indo-Pacific.
