Genevieve Krieger

Biography
Genevieve Krieger is currently pursuing an MPA in Development Practice at Columbia SIPA, where she specializes in Disaster, Crisis, and Emergency Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Pomona College, with academic concentrations in Gender and Public Policy.
She brings a diverse range of experience across government, academia, civil society, and the private sector. Genevieve is currently working with the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, where she supports the Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism Section. Additionally, she is a research assistant at SIPA, exploring how cross-sector partnerships can strengthen resilience in contexts affected by conflict.
Previously, Genevieve served as a legislative fellow in the US House of Representatives, an intern at the US Department of State Office of International Religious Freedom, and a consultant for the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles.
Genevieve was selected as a US Department of State Fulbright Scholar and USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Fellow.
