Evelyn Larsen

Evelyn Larsen is an MIA candidate at Columbia SIPA. Originally from Seattle, Washington, her academic and professional interests center on international diplomacy, national security, and public service.

Prior to SIPA, Evelyn served at the White House, most recently as Deputy Director for Visits and Diplomatic Affairs on the National Security Council. In this role, she managed presidential travel abroad, helping plan and execute the President’s engagements with foreign leaders, working closely with US embassies, the Secret Service, foreign counterparts, and teams across the White House. She previously served in the Office of the Second Gentleman and as a White House Advance Associate supporting events and travel for the President, Vice President, First Lady, and Second Gentleman.

Evelyn began her career as an Advance Associate and Site Lead for Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign, where she learned the art and logistics of executing rallies and selfie lines for thousands of people across the country. Most recently, she worked for FIFA as the Government Relations Onsite Lead for the New York New Jersey stadium during the 2026 World Cup, overseeing logistics and protocol for heads of state and government officials attending matches.

Evelyn graduated from Scripps College with a degree in Politics and a minor in Spanish and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
