Biography
Eden Kaduri is an MPA candidate at Columbia SIPA, specializing in Data Science for Policy. With over eight years of experience in national security, international relations, and public policy, she brings a multidisciplinary and global perspective to peacebuilding, diplomacy, and democratic governance.
She previously served as the head parliamentary advisor to Knesset Member Merav Michaeli, former Minister of Transportation and Chair of the Labor Party. In this role, Eden coordinated legislative strategy during the Gaza war, authored policy briefs, and advanced legislation supporting victims of gender-based violence. She helped shape policies grounded in international law and democratic values and led advocacy efforts for a two-state solution. She also took part in environmental diplomacy initiatives with Palestinian counterparts through EcoPeace and other regional dialogue platforms. Passionate about advancing women’s rights, Eden volunteered for two years at a rape crisis center, supporting survivors of sexual violence.
Eden’s earlier experience includes service in IDF intelligence, where she led data analysis teams focused on disarmament. She later worked as a researcher at Israel’s leading think tanks, INSS and MIND Israel, contributing to publications on strategic deterrence, national security policy, and humanitarian aid in the Middle East. She has authored over 15 policy papers, many of which focus on conflict resolution, regional diplomacy, and peacebuilding. As part of her work, she collaborated with international representatives and presented policy recommendations directly to Israeli decision-makers.
Currently, Eden is a research assistant at Columbia’s Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies, contributing to research on digital propaganda and foreign information operations. She also serves as a university senator and is active in SIPA’s Student Association.
