Biography
Christopher Abt is a BA candidate at Columbia College, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Drama & Theatre Arts. His professional experience spans the judiciary, state and federal government, private legal practice, and high-profile personal offices. In these roles, he has supported the work of leaders such as Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York State Attorney General Letitia James, and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
On campus, Christopher serves as president of Columbia’s university-wide chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha (the National Political Science Honor Society) and as a staff editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review. He previously acted as one of the university's youngest teaching assistants and assisted with research at Columbia Law School.
Drawing on his background as a former professional actor with Off-Broadway, Hollywood film, and national commercial experience, Christopher leverages performance and storytelling to pursue narrative-driven advocacy and public service.
