Biography
Charlotte Bacchetta is an MIA candidate at Columbia SIPA, concentrating in Technology Policy and Innovation and Data Science for Public Policy. She works at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs on global digital governance, contributing to the WSIS+20 review process and the 2025 Internet Governance Forum.
Her international experience spans retail technology, venture capital, and policy research. She has worked in Paris with Red River West, supporting the evaluation of European SaaS startups on US market expansion, and at Ida AI, a retail technology startup where she led product integration projects across France. She holds a degree in economics, management, and computer science from Bocconi University in Milan. Her research interests include AI governance, platform accountability, and participatory content moderation models.
