Major Events

Spotlight Interview - featuring Clinton and Miliband

The Spotlight Interviews speaker series brought prominent public- and private- sector leaders to IGP for intimate, in-depth conversations about today’s most pressing global challenges. This semester's speakers included Rt. Hon. Dame Jacinda Ardern, the former prime minister of New Zealand, and David Miliband, president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee.

Across the Aisle Panelists

IGP’s Across the Aisle series features discussions between prominent domestic and global leaders with opposing viewpoints, with the goal of modeling for students the possibility for and value of respectful civil discourse, which is presently all too rare in our society. This semester's discussions included:

  • Larry Hogan, the Republican former governor of Maryland and Kathy Hochul, the Democratic governor of New York, moderated by Andrea Mitchell of NBC News. Watch the discussion »
